Software & Systems Development
In the Software & Systems Development program, students will acquire a comprehensive understandingof foundational coding languages, including C, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while also gaining
proficiency in debugging techniques. These courses are designed to provide a solid grounding in
the fundamentals of computer programming.Furthermore, the curriculum extends beyond conventional
coding languages to encompass emerging technologies that shape the future of the field, with a
specific focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and careers with relevance to computer science.
Courses We Offer
Introduction To Computer Science
This course assumes no prior knowledge of computers. The course will start by building a strong foundation with variables, operations, style, abstraction, functions, loops and conditionals. It will then transition to designing and testing algorithms, information processing, data types, control structures, modules, recursion, arrays, strings, packages, classes, objects, graphics, and databases.
AP Computer Science Principles
AP Computer Science Principles is an introductory college-level computing course that introduces students to the breadth of the field of computer science.learn to design and evaluate solutions and to apply computer science to solve problems through the development of algorithms and programs. They incorporate abstraction into programs and use data to discover new knowledge.
Student Examples
Receiving Data
Students used different methods of recieving and collecting data, and created their own unique database.
Binary Calculator
Students learned to use both math and C programming in order to create a calculator that converts bionary numbers into integers.
Hangman Game
Students used programming languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in order to create a hangman game.
