Department Overview

The Anaheim High School Science Department is implementing the new Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). NGSS is a nationally approved set of standards that helps students prepare for life after high school. Be it college or career, AHS Science students will know how to think critically, argue persuasively, and act analytically. Our course offerings include those that prepare a student for UC and CSU enrollment and enrich their interests in Science. We offer the following Science courses: Earth Science, biology, Chemistry, Physics, Human Anatomy, AP Biology, and AP Physics.
