TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Anaheim High School (1999-)
Freshman and Sophomore English, (1999-): English is requires for all high school students at these levels, instruction emphasizes the styles, structures, and tones of narrative writing, research papers, literary criticism, and persuasive composition. Students read and familiarize themselves with styles, structures, and purposes of novels, drama, poetry and informational texts.
Writing Coach, (Fall 1999): Duties included helping five classes of Title I and ELD students write essays according to the district-wide format for research papers (MLA Research Paper Format) and helping with word processing skills.
CSU Fullerton
Assistant Teacher for The Structure of Modern English, ENGL 303 (Fall 1998): Duties included collecting and grading homework, preparing exercises to aid students in studying for mid-term and final examinations, and conducting 1½ hour study group sessions once a week. The students were English and liberal arts majors.
